Walid Maalouf Foundation- مؤسسة وليد معلوف
The humanitarian efforts of Walid Maalouf for the last three decades are well documented. With faith, good will and determination he found the means to help others. Through his contacts in the United States, he was able to help provide scholarships to several Lebanese and Syrian students and raised the necessary funds to rebuild Our Lady of Deliverance Melkite Catholic Church in his ancestoral town Kfarkatra.

Mr. Maalouf established the Metrolina Phoenician Club (MPC) in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1983 and the Lebanese American Renaissance Partnership (LARP) in Washington DC in 2006. Both organizations channeled their non-profit returns to help non-governmental organizations in Lebanon, including those that work with abused and drug addicted children, deaf and blind children and orphans, the elderly, cancer stricken children, handicapped children and several scholarships for school children.

We would like to consolidate these ideas and resources in one platform - The Walid Maalouf Foundation. We invite all men, women and the donor communities to join us. If you are interested, send us your suggestions and the projects you would like to implement through this initiative.
