The Mission Continues
Building the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Deliverance of Kfarkatra The Walid Maalouf Foundation has been leading the fundraising efforts to build Our Lady of Deliverance Melkite-Catholic Church of Kfarkatra since 1995. After raising $250,000 and building the church hall, we are now embarking on fundraising efforts to build the sanctuary. Since August 2010, the Foundation has raised $30,450 toward that goal. The Maalouf Foundation mission is to be the link between the donors and the project as illustrated in the three columns and olive leaves logo. The left column is the project, and the right column is the donor. The middle column is the Maalouf Foundation linking the donor and the project reaching out to each other through the abundance of the olive tree which, along with the cedar tree, is one of Lebanon's important symbols. We shall continue until this project is totally finished. Following are pictures of the rising sanctuary, please join us in rising up for our Lord and his Blessed Mother. Send us your financial support and be part of this worthy project. You can donate on line through this website and your name will be listed on the plaque of donors to be hung in the Church hall upon completion of the construction. ...
